Find your nearest branch

We have more than 100 branches across England, Scotland and Wales – from the Highlands of Scotland to the North Devon coast.

Our branches offer a range of activities based on our motto of ‘fun, friendship and fellowship’ – all of them are social and they are rooted in the caring welfare you’d expect from former NHS, health and social care staff and volunteers. There’s usually tea and cake involved and sometimes something stronger!

Examples include walking groups, lunch clubs, trips out to local places of interest, theatre visits – some branches even take holidays together! You can get involved with as much or as little as you like.

Search our branch finder below to locate your nearest branch and get in touch – we know you will get a warm welcome.

And if we don’t have a branch near you, please let us know. We are always on the lookout for opportunities to start new branches – either directly with retired members themselves or in partnership with your local NHS trust or board.

For enquiries relating to England, please contact Lucia Hiden on 0800 915 1455 or email comms@nhsrf.org.uk

Across Scotland, we are pleased to have seven active branches located in:

It is the aim of the NHSRF to establish more branches across Scotland and we are looking to work closely with the health boards throughout Scotland to do this.

Scottish branches are represented at a national level by the Scottish Federation. The Federation meets regularly, provides information from the Fellowship centrally and raises any Scottish issues. The Scottish Federation also holds an Annual General Meeting.

To join one of our branches in Scotland (or to find out where our plans for new branches are), please contact Lynda McKie, Fellowship Support Officer for Scotland on 0800 915 1455 or email scotland@nhsrf.org.uk
