If you’d like to join our growing community of like-minded retired and retiring NHS and social care staff and volunteers, then here’s how you can join to make new friends as well as revisit old friendships.
Join the NHS Retirement Fellowship

Join a local branch
We have branches across England, Scotland and Wales and you can find your nearest branch by visiting our branch finder. Branch members pay their fees locally but can also contact our team on 0800 915 1455 or email info@nhsrf.org.uk.
Become a national member
Not everyone wants to join a branch, can commit to branch life, or has a branch nearby. As a national member, you’ll still get access to our benefits and be part of our community. Plus, there’s a growing number of activities and events just for national members!

I joined the Fellowship because I wanted to be part of something after I retired. It gives me friendship and through socialising I've increased my connections which has made me feel so much better. It is also a good and unexpected way of putting dormant skills to use again. Retirement can make you feel purposeless, so it's great to get involved and contribute wherever possible. It’s an opportune way of staying connected with people you have spent most of your working life with, those you have respected, laughed with, shared stories with and bonded with.
