Cosham Branch members enjoy a wide range of activities including monthly meetings which encourages socialising, and where members hold a raffle, book and craft sales stalls. The monthly branch meetings may include a variety of activities such as a quiz, or beetle drive and they often include a speaker or presentation on subjects of interest. Appropriate festive activities are organised at Christmas and Easter which are offered in addition to a Christmas lunch at a local college restaurant. In addition, when the weather is good outdoor activities are organised and may include gentle walks for those able, a lunch somewhere, and members have also enjoyed visits to places of interest. Light refreshments are available at the Wednesday meetings, and we have a meet and greet rota to encourage new members when they join, whilst they settle in and find like-minded members. Our members are very friendly and two of our members act as support and welfare officers and offer appropriate and confidential advice and support to members as and when needed. New members are very welcome, and we look forward to hearing from you.
