We’re pleased to announce the appointment of Vincent Rowantree as our new trustee representing Scotland.
Vincent has been a member of the Edinburgh and Lothians branch for the past two years and is also the treasurer of the Scottish Federation, which represents all the branches and national members in Scotland.
Vincent said: “I’m really pleased to have been appointed as the trustee representing Scotland. I am very passionate about the Fellowship and I think it has tremendous potential although it does face some challenges as well. I think I have some skills which can be of help and I look forward to taking this forward with everyone else.”
An occupational therapist by background, Vincent qualified in 1987 and worked in a variety of roles in adult mental health services including in clinical research across Edinburgh, Forth Valley and Kirkcaldy and managing occupational therapy teams.
He added that he is enjoying the induction process as a trustee and getting to know more people and the roles they have within the Fellowship. He said: “I’m just keen to see where my skills can help out the most.”
Vincent is a keen golfer who also enjoys piano and painting. He also plays an active role in supporting his daughter and 11 year old granddaughter.
