We are an active, friendly and welcoming group. Our branch aim is to advance the interest of its members in areas of education, health and social welfare by providing facilities and an environment that contribute to improving opportunities of its members through promotion of activities such as visits to the seaside, one holiday each year and various trips of interest. In February each year we have a planning session to discuss what events or activities the branch members would like to do for each month of the year for example: Bring and Buy, bingo, chair exercises, quizzes, celebrating Black History Month, reading poetry, inviting speakers of interest and Christmas celebrations. Refreshments and snacks are available at each meeting. New members are very welcome and we look forward to hearing from you.
