The Patients Association

The Patients Association is an independent patient charity campaigning for improvements in health and social care for patients. The Association is a unique charity with an overarching remit covering all health and care issues. They work with patients directly: they are its members and supporters, and also the people who benefit from the Association’s help and advice services. The Patients Association also send out a weekly newsletter to members and subscribers. This newsletter contains an update on the latest health and social care news, an overview of the Association’s recent activities, and opportunities for people to have their say.

M25 group

A new group of over 30 branches inside, or just outside, the M25 has been launched by Sally Bundock, development officer for the south east.

2018 – The Anniversary Year

2018 was the year of the NHS .  The media had programmes full of celebrations for the 70th anniversary of the NHS, and the Retirement Fellowship has enjoyed unprecedented publicity for our 40th anniversary.  Our autumn 2017 newsletter contained news and pictures of the main events Anniversary newsletter  

Members attend Royal Garden Parties

For the 40th anniversary of the NHSRF, we were delighted to receive invitations to Royal Garden Parties, at Buckingham Palace and  at Holyrood Palace.
