Our Chief Executive John Rostill was honoured to be invited to attend the Service of Commemoration and Thanksgiving at St Paul’s Cathedral

John Rostill the Chief Executive of NHS Retirement Fellowship  was invited to attend the Service of Commemoration and Thanksgiving, held at St Paul’s Cathedral on July 5th 2021 – the 73rd Anniversary of the NHS.

The event was attended by the Duke of Cambridge, The Prime Minister and Sir Simon Stevens and representatives of front line staff from across the country, including the Matron from Coventry, who gave the first vaccination and the Consultant from Newcastle who treated the first Covid-19 patients.
It was a multi-faith service and contributors reflected the huge diversity within the NHS.

Afterwards he said:     ‘It was my privilege to represent the NHS Retirement Fellowship at this service.
A marvellous occasion, I felt honoured to be there’
