St John Ambulance is looking for volunteers to join the NHS COVID-19 vaccine team and help protect millions of people.
The fightback against the coronavirus pandemic is underway. The NHS is undertaking the largest vaccination programme in its history, and your organisation could be part of it.
We are asking our valued partners and colleagues to encourage and support their teams to step forward from the following areas;
• Humber and East Riding
• Leicestershire, Northamptonshire and Rutland
• West Midlands
Apply using the link below to volunteer with St John as part of the NHS COVID-19 vaccination programme. We are looking for volunteers to be Vaccination Care Volunteers and Vaccination Patient Advocates to support our citizens.
Our volunteers are part of a team that helps people throughout the whole vaccination process, from arrival to discharge. For care volunteers and advocates, this means providing support to vaccinators and caring for people before and after they have their injections..
St John Ambulance is providing full training and asking that volunteers can give at least two eight-hour shifts (16 hours a month). The vaccination programme is expected to run to the end of June.
We’re incredibly excited about creating a healthier, safer, more resilient future. If you or your colleagues want to be a part of this, we’d love to have you on board.
If you have any questions, please email or
call 0330 154 411.
Thank you
