Appointment of Sue Williams as Vice Chair of Members Council

We are pleased to announce that Sue Williams has been elected to the role of Vice Chair of the Members Council.

Sue has been a stalwart of the organisation for ten years now and works tirelessly as part of the committee at the Walsall branch as well as the regional representative for the Midlands.

Lorraine Taylor, Chair of the Members Council, said: “I am delighted that Sue has been elected as vice chair of the Member Council and I am looking forward to building on the excellent working relationship that we already have. This is a time fo great change for the organisation and it is essential that the voice of members is at the heart of everything the organisation does and Sue will continue to be an excellent champion for all our members.”

Sue Williams added: “I am very pleased to accept the nomination for the role of vice chair of the Members Council. I am looking forward to working more with the rest of the dedicated representatives who sit on the Members Council as well as getting to know the staff and the trustees more too and making sure that members interests are paramount in the decisions that they make.”
