John Rostill OBE joined the NHS as a regional administrative trainee in 1964. His 47 year NHS career included 10 years in Personnel and more than 30 years as chief executive at Walsall and Worcestershire NHS trusts. He retired in July 2011 and started work again as a management consultant one month later and became Director of the NHS Retirement Fellowship in 2013.
