|We are a branch of approximately 75 members and our meetings take on a very informal and friendly atmosphere.|
We have a variety of speakers on subjects such as £The Role of the RNLI£, £History of The Great North Road£, £Houghton Mill£, £Alpacas£, £Dogs for the Disabled£, £Call the Midwife£, £Divided by a Common Language£ and £The origins of English Place Names£. We get together with our friends from the Wisbech Fellowship twice a year, with us attending their Strawberry Tea and they in turn coming to our Christmas Party.
We have active interest groups for Scrabble, Walking and Knit and Natter.
We arrange lunches, days out and holidays for our members and friends.
After the meeting, lunch can be taken in the Staff Dining Room.
We have a very supportive Welfare Section and at national level we always have a representative at Conference.
